The predecessor of CASI was jointly founded by the Chinese Academy of Science and the National Economic Council in 1987. Before 2007, its main bussinees was to facilitate the industrialization of scientific and technological achievements, and had provided key financial support to more than 280 enterprises, in which some famous companies are included.
Since 2007, CASI has successfully transformed into a market-oriented fund manager who targets at technology field, now CASI is one of the most professional and influential fund manager in China.
